Confidence In Faith
Many, many years ago, we had Faith as one of our Character Qualities. It’s definition was Confidence that doing the right thing will lead to success. Faith was dropped when we followed Strata Leadership’s move from 49 qualities to 36. We have just added Confidence to our list of qualities. The Christian faith resources for Confidence are a mix of resources for the previous Faith and the new Confidence.

You’ve Got This!
by Mary Andres Russell
How encouraging to hear that statement! Whether from a friend, co-worker, teacher or parent, the statement expresses another’s confidence in our ability to do the job well, perform the task… It says that others believe in us, even when we don’t quite believe in ourselves.
The ministry of encouragement is a vital part of the Christian life. It is the act of lifting up and supporting others, both in word and deed. When we encourage others, we are showing them the love of Christ and helping them to overcome discouragement and build confidence.
The Bible teaches us the importance of encouragement. In Philippians 2:1, Paul writes, “If there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.” This verse tells us that encouragement is essential for completing our joy and for having a full and meaningful Christian life.
There are many ways to encourage others. We can offer words of affirmation, such as telling someone they are loved, appreciated, or valued. We can also encourage others through our actions, such as listening to them with compassion, praying for them, or helping them in practical ways.
Encouragement is not always easy. It takes time, effort, and sensitivity. But it is one of the most powerful gifts we can give to others. When we encourage someone, we are giving them hope, strength, and the courage to keep going.
Who can you encourage today? A child, a coworker, a student, a grandchild? Who do you know that would benefit from a quick text or call to let them know, “You’ve got this!”
