Kinder Character Challenge: Send Valentines to Children’s Hospital
Put a smile on a child at Children’s Hospital this Valentine’s Day. If you go to their website, you can send a valentine to a patient. On the form, choose your valentine, and it will be printed and given to a child in the hospital. It takes about 30 seconds, and it’s FREE. Once you submit it, you are presented with an option to donate. The card printer is matching donations, and again, the donation is optional. No deadline was listed for when they will stop accepting valentines, but the sooner, the better. There are many children’s hospitals that are doing this, so if you have additional time, try another. Just use your favorite search engine to find Valentines for Children’s Hospitals. Some allow you to write a personal message (Cincinnati does not). It’s recommended not to say Get Well as some of these children will not. Instead, focus on the holiday and send cheer. |
