World Kindness Day Nov. 13
Create a calendar for the rest of this month all the way to the end of December. Have the family come up with ideas for kindness for every day until the end of the year. You can use the calendar to identify what you should be doing that day, or you can treat the whole calendar like a bingo card. Each person would have their own copy posted, and when they do any of the kind acts, they place a sticker or a checkmark in that block. They then have until the end of the year to see how many of the items they can do.
When the calendar period is over, process it with these or similar questions:
- Was it fun to be kind?
- Did you think of other kind acts during this time period?
- Did you recognize when others were kind?
- After this, do you think you will think about being kind more often?
