Attentiveness Prayer

Dear Jesus,

We praise you for your goodness and mercy and thank you for the example of Attentiveness in your life. We remember how you listened to the will of your Father and the attention you gave those who followed you. Remind us to pay attention to those who are speaking to us by making eye contact and setting the intention to listen. May we learn, with your help, to ask questions when we do not understand. Guide us to tune out distractions and to not make every conversation about us. Help us to act in all things in harmony with the will of the Father.
