Heroes of Character Event 2023

After two years of virtual celebrations, the Character Council is excited to be back, in person, to honor exemplary students and adults of high character from across the Tri-state region.

On April 18, 2023, the Character Council will hold its 11th “Heroes of Character” celebration. This year’s theme is “Bouncing Forward… with Resilience.”  We will gather at the Champion Mill Conference Center at the newly opened Spooky Nook Sports Center in Hamilton, Ohio.

New in 2023, a special “Pillar of Character” award will be presented to Kim and Bonnie Nuxhall for their lifetime of achievements and dedication to the community. At least 10 upstanding citizens and students will also be recognized. Each has their own unique story, whether bouncing back from a setback to accomplish the amazing, doing the right thing no matter the cost, or fighting injustice for those unable to fight for themselves. By honoring their character, we build our own Resilience, and together, Bounce Forward in strengthening our families and communities.
