Session 2 - Character Training for Cincinnati Police Officers and Firefighters

Who:
Over 200 Cincinnati police officers and firefighters, led by Sheriff Ray Nash of the Police Dynamics Institute (based in South Carolina) and Michael Daly, founder of the Character Council.

What:
Character training as part of the "Cities of Character" initiative signed into effect by Cincinnati City Council on September 27, 2000. Attendees of the first sessions (October 2000) responded enthusiastically.

When:
Monday, December 11, 2000 - Thursday, December 14, 2000
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Each day

Where:
Cincinnati Police Academy, Longworth Hall
700 West Pete Rose Way

Why:
The intense training calls police officers and firefighters to take a look at their own character, while putting a focus on their unique position within our community to model good character.

PHOTO/VIDEO AND INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES

Media is welcome to come and view the last day of the training at any time from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM. (Lunch from 11:30-12:30) Interviews will be most effective later in the day after the training has been implemented.
